Born Paris, France, 22 January 1892. Graduated 1914
as one of the first aeronautical engineers of France.
Manufacturer of aircraft parts in World War I, his first
product was the propeller for the Spad fighters flown by
Allied aces.
Designed and produced the successful Bloch 152, one of the
few French fighters available to repel the 1940 invasion.
Following WW II founded the Dassault Company, became
Europe's leading aircraft builder, producing the famous
Mystere jet fighter, and Europe's first Mach 2 aircraft,
the Mirage.
