This Pininfaria designed beauty had a five year waiting list when
ordered from the factory - and you had to pay up front! Amazingly
it still became one of Ferrari's best-selling cars. Another unique
feature of the car are the distinctive bodyside "strakes" which are
channels that duct cooling air more efficiently to twin radiators
on both sides of the engines.
The name "Testarossa" is the Italian word for "redhead." Cleverly
Ferrari also fitted the engine with red colored heads.
