Description: Situated behind a hotel and a row of shops is a hidden
paradise. There you will find a large water area surrounded by lush landscaping
and containing several fountains.
Passing through the entry from the shops, you come across a stand of tall palm trees
in the foreground, and behind it you can see the lake area with a large spray of water
coming from a jet submerged in the center of the lower lake.
Continuing to the edge of the water, you will see wall containing a row of lion head sculptures that
spray water out of their mouths into the lake
There is a sidewalk that completely circles the lakes. Walking around the edge of the lake to
about the halfway point, you come to a "dam" that separates the upper lake area from the
lower lake. There are 3 different channels the water takes through the dam. Two have a
staggered series of steps that the water flows down, while in the center, it drops down in
a large single step creating a waterfall effect.
At the extreme end of the lake there is a rock waterfall where the water flow of the
lake originates.
Continuing all the way back to the entry area, you come upon a raised concrete area that
appears to house the pumping equipment. There you will see a small rectangular
cutout pool that contains a small lion head fountain spraying a small stream of water
into the air.
